It took approximately 5 years after my older daughter's birth & seeking support for my son when we suspected he has Autism, to find out about the funding that is available to families with children who have complex special needs and nearly another 3 years of advocating for support in completing those forms before I was able to figure out how to complete them and get them submitted.
